[Case Study] Signs of corrosion appeared on the tubes of the turbo chiller heat exchanger.
An example of using a pH meter for cooling water management combined with concentrated management of electrical conductivity.
There was a request to implement cooling water quality management because signs of corrosion (green rust) were observed in the tubes of the turbo chiller heat exchanger introduced the year before. As a result, our company decided to manage the cooling water, but subsequent water quality analysis revealed that the pH level of the cooling water was not in compliance with discharge regulations. As a countermeasure, we proposed adding cooling water management using a pH meter for the management of electrical conductivity concentration. This not only helps prevent corrosion of the tubes with water treatment agents but also ensures compliance with discharge regulations through the pH meter, which was well received. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issue - Signs of corrosion (green rust) observed in the tubes of the turbo chiller heat exchanger introduced the previous year. ■ Solution - Proposed adding cooling water management using a pH meter for the management of electrical conductivity concentration. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
